Web Marketing Hacks is a static site. There's almost nothing to be private about, but here's what's actually happening when you load a page.

What I collect

Nothing directly. There's no signup, no form, no cookie banner because there are no cookies set by this site. If that ever changes, this is the page I'll change first.

The server that hosts the site keeps standard access logs (IP address, user agent, the URL you requested). These are kept for up to 30 days for security and debugging, then deleted. They're not used for analytics or marketing.

Fonts

The headline font is loaded from Bunny Fonts, a privacy-respecting font CDN run as a drop-in replacement for Google Fonts. Bunny Fonts doesn't log IPs or set cookies. Their about page has the technical detail.

Analytics

There are no analytics scripts on this site at the moment. If that changes, I'll switch to a privacy-respecting tool like Plausible or Fathom — both of which are cookie-free and don't track individuals — and I'll update this page when I do.

Email

If you email me at [email protected], I have your email address until I delete the thread. I don't add it to a list, I don't share it with anyone, and there's no list to add it to in the first place.

Third parties

Some pages link to external sites and tools. When you click those links you're subject to their privacy practices, not mine. I link to primary sources where possible, not affiliate redirects.

Changes

If anything material changes, the date at the top of this page changes too. If you want to know more about anything here, email me.
